Daniel Nils Roberts is a comedian, actor, improviser and film-maker. As a member of comedy sensations Austentatious he has starred in BBC Radio 4’s first improvised show in 5 years (with another on the way in 2019), sold out multiple major UK tours, and conquered London’s glittering West End.

He is also a founder of cult improvised favourites Racing Minds, with whom he has masterminded a hit podcast with over half a million SoundCloud followers and recorded an original series for Audible.

His first two wildly inventive solo comedy shows gathered rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe and were both nominated for ‘Best Comedy’ at Fringe World in Perth, Australia. Gag-packed flights of fancy combine with hilariously surprising PowerPoint visuals, for a unique brand of quick-fire absurdism that is “so funny that it seems like Roberts is just showing off” (Broadway Baby).

His third solo show, The History of the World in 1 Hour, debuted at Perth Fringe World in 2019 before heading to sell-out runs at Leicester Comedy Festival and Brighton Fringe, Buxton Fringe (where it was nominated for the ‘Best Comedy Show’ award), and the Edinburgh Fringe.
